Summer begins for me on the Winter Solstice, December 21. This is the shortest day of the year and from then on the days start getting longer. Now we still have to go through the cold months of January, February, and March. Just Us stays in the water all winter. I love sitting on in the cabin with the heat on watching the snow fall on the harbor.
